ROYAL ALEXANDER CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

6 years ago my son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, no one really knows why people develop this illness but its an autoimmune disease, and often confused with Type 2. This was the early days of my charity and through getting to know the Diabetic team at the hospital I was able to understand the illness but also come up with a solution for a pop-up workshop format which the young people could enjoy.
