WORKSHOPS

Working with marginalised individuals from all kinds of backgrounds is my speciality and passion…

β€œEvery child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”

― PABLO PICASSO

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

I deliver meaningful and confidence boosting workshops in all kinds of spaces including corporate settings, youth work settings, community spaces and secure environments. This has enabled me to be flexible with my formats and therapeutic creative approach that I have been developing over many years as an Inclusive Arts Practitioner.

WHAT MAKES MY WORKSHOPS SPECIAL?

  • Your Safety and wellbeing is my priority and whether this is at a public event or in a secure environment, I am trained to work with people to make the creative experience enjoyable regardless of any disabilities.

  • FUN is the aim of the game and getting into a flow of process driven art-making rather than outcome driven art-making is how I work as a therapeutic practitioner. An Inclusive Arts Practitioner’s role is to empower others.

  • Participants have full autonomy in their art making, creating together, empowering to do for themselves (as much as possible), rather than painting or creating art for the participant is my approach. It actually diminishes what the participant can get out of the workshop, if the artist makes art for them rather than empowering the individual to make it themselves in their own way. I also undertake collaborative pieces with participants where we work together.

  • Risk assessments

  • DBS Check to Enhanced status

  • Public & Products Liability Β£10 Million

  • Professional Indemnity Β£5 Million

  • Health and safety training for all participants

  • Experience of bringing my formats and working with YOUR team, including Carers, Therapists, TA’s, Teachers, Nurses, Doctors Health Assistants and Social workers to name a few. I can also bring my team with me if you need that depending on numbers and setting.

  • I am fully trained in working with individuals who are harder to engage and those who are marginalised in our society.
